Triangle Organization Development Network Presents!

Change SIG (Special Interest Group)

Finding Strong Ground in the Work We Do & the Lives We Live

a facilitated learning event

______________________________

Date: Friday, August 28, 2026

⏰ Time: 8:30 – 10:00 AM ET

Location: Online via Zoom

(Eligible for 1.5 ICF CCEs)

Join us us as we take this opportunity to put our learning from Brene Brown's book, Strong Ground, into practice.  OD practice, that is.

Whether you read along with us this summer or not, you will not want to miss this gathering of hearts and minds to discuss the important take-aways from Dr. Brown's book.

If you read the book (in the past or recently), we ask that you bring your biggest take-away from the book to share.

  • Was there a metaphor that stuck with you?
  • Did Dr. Brown hit a "nerve" that caused you to be more reflective about some aspect of your work?
  • Was there a quote that you put on a sticky note on the fridge?
  • Was there something more you started wanting from your life and leadership?
  • Did you resonate with Dr. Brown's contention that the elements of grounded confidence are more about life than just leadership?

If you have never read the book, we invite you to come, listen, and share your takes on what you hear.

When we are done, we will all walk away with new understandings of "strong ground" and "grounded confidence" as they apply to the work we do as OD practitioners.

Change SIG Chair, Susan Westbrook, will host and facilitate the discussion.

Please note: For ICF certified coaches, this Change SIG event offers 1.5 CCEs.
